The pandemic forced us to change…and love even more
Many things changed during the pandemic. Many of which we didn’t even imagine happening Like celebrating occasions only with the people we live in the same house with, not being able to meet our loved ones when we wanted to, or not being by their side when they need us.
A lot changed too at Flowers and Greens. We strived. We had to make drastic changes with how we usually do things before this whole ordeal with the virus started. Above anything else, we prioritized the health and safety of our clients and our staff. We changed the way we create those bunches of blooms and the way we do flower delivery to our clients’ doorsteps.
But if there’s anything that surprised us in these trying times it was how sending flowers became more relevant. At the time of isolation, anxiety, and fear, gifting loved ones a bunch became more meaningful as it helped comfort a worried mind, a troubled heart, and helped lift someone’s spirit. More than ever, a basket or bouquet of lovely flowers clients order online became more touching. Sending flowers became a way of reaching out to loved ones we can’t hug even when they’re only a meter away.
It was touching not only to our clients but to us, seeing how the products of our hard work, creativity, and even risk, made people smile during a tough time.
It’s true. A lot of things changed recently. But if there’s anything good among those, it’s that we realized that touching hearts sometimes doesn’t need physical contact. Sometimes, it only takes sending your thoughts, your love, and your heart.
