We might be fooled to thinking that intimate means less.

The pandemic has put a lot of restrictions to almost every aspect of our lives: our lifestyle, our work, our business, and even celebrations and gatherings that we would usually enjoy with a big crowd before. It’s common to Filipinos to hold big celebrations with all the members of the clan and friends and friends of friends present in a very important event. Of course, it’s because we want everybody to be part of a beautiful memory. However, as the pandemic continues to pose threat to our health, we now have to celebrate with only a selected few.

But as the saying goes, less is actually more.

Every occasion is becoming intimate: intimate wedding, intimate baptismal, intimate birthday bash, intimate events- you name it. It means fewer people can attend your gathering. If you strictly follow the current guidelines, you are not even allowed to get too close to each other.

4. 4. Events don’t have to be big and extravagant like how it used to be. You realize that with only a few around, you appreciate your family more.

Intimate isn’t less. Intimate is classy, elegant, soulful, and more meaningful.
