FLOWERS AND GREENS AT TEDDY MANUEL WORKSHOP

If there is anything that we at Flowers and Greens value the most, it is customer satisfaction. We know that the only way to achieve this is to continuously equip and improve ourselves so we can deliver better products and services to you.

Being true to this, we recently sent our staff to the Teddy Manuel Masterclass, a two-day workshop composed of lecture and hands-on activities which tested our creativity and innovativeness. Teddy Manuel is  a leading floral designer and event stylist in the Philippines who we really look up to. In fact, we always make sure to attend his workshops which are immensely helpful.

The highlight of this workshop was the group challenge where participants were divided into four teams. Each team was assigned a fairy tale theme—Lion king, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and Little Mermaid.   Each team was given a time to execute table arrangements, ceiling installation, and overall styling based on their theme. Of course, Benjie of Flowers and Greens was always in for the game. This activity challenged the participants’ creativity as we were to come up with great result with only the materials provided to each team.

Aside from the challenges each team faced, it was a matter of going beyond one’s limits, testing skills, and creating new concepts with one’s own techniques. And we never say no to these like we never say no to you!

The workshop ended with a magical gala dinner where each team was seated on their themed tablescape and styled area. It was challenging and unbelievable considering the amount of detail one has to consider plus the challenge of working with people you just met and the time pressure.

Truly, it was an amazing experience for Flowers and Greens.  Anything which means levelling up our game, we are all for it!
