Bouquets that will Warm a Heart on a Cold Day
The start of the BER months is only two weeks away. Time flies!
As the season begins to send us some chills, we at Flowers and Greens are getting into a serious inclination on warm colors and darker shades for our flower arrangements.
Colors being warm are about feeling them. Orange, yellow, and red are described as warm colors basically because they make us think of fire which brings warmth. On the same note, these colors usually make us feel happy and cozy. It’s the same reason they are used in painting houses and interiors.
As florists, this is our perspective on these colors: dark or warm hues mixed with unique flower texture make for an interesting combination and look.
Some associate dark colors like plum and deep purple to a gloomy mood, and they may say “darker shades on such a gloomy season?”
Why not?
Truth be told, these are not very popular color choices among customers. But we, and certainly those who pick these combinations, do for the love of warmth, drama, and sophistication that such colors bring.
Warm hues and dark shades on the rainy days? We say Yes to that.
How about you?
